I think I did pretty alright with my pen on this one.
I decided to combine two very similar scenes in this strip. The Movie Brave story's choosing scene and KH's Choosing scene. Course this doesn't mean I have a badass magical power, it just means I have something. I'll expand on this newfound ability I've gainned in the next strip.
Oh and That is Mosh Talking at the end there. Sort of a shout out to KH fans who think the sword is badass looking and want to grab it. The scene was going to go with me grabbing the staff and getting magic. It makes sense, Mosh is big enough to protect me and take out most things. So magic seemed like the best idea for me.
Yeah I'll be doing more strips than pages. This is to speed things up and to allow more flexibility in my story. If I do too many panels I end up regretting as that means that's more of the story I can't change to a better idea I think of!

heck yeah, brave story's manga was so awesome and that's what got me interested.
The book was well written and had a great overarching moral to it. Loved how Wataru goes from a wimpy normal kid to a mature young man by the end of his journey, the development was very well done and justified!
