Here's Zeis engaged in battle with Neo Zeon remnants in the cockpit of his mobile suit somewhere near Lagrange 1, done for me by 
silverferak who did such a great job on this! Drawing the linear seat and pilot suit were really tough and adapting the helmet for a non-human head was tricky too, but he got all the details absolutely right! Thank you Silver!

Zeis is piloting an RGM-89D Jegan Type D, which is a total cannon fodder MS but it's still one of my favorites. I always like the mass-produced mooks more than the hero suits.
He's wearing a dark blue variant of the Earth Federation's standard pilot suit, circa UC 0096, and is a member of the Londo Bell special unit.
No, he's not floating in space, he's surrounded by a 360 degree panoramic screen with the seat suspended in the middle.
