The crowd on the beach watched with bated breath, as the volleyball players moved about, trying to gain the upper hand on their opponents. Erika keeping an eye out for an opening, when spots it, she poises and prepares to 'set butter' and lines up the shot for her teams middle blocker.
And when the referee blows their whistle to signal a point, the crowd erupts with vigorous glee, knowing their home team just won that summers volleyball tournament.
"You did great Erika." Her teams coach called out "Let's hope you can help us to retain the championship title next year."
"I certainly intend to do that." She calls back, from amidst her teammates.
