Portrait Art for pre-gen D&D characters for my one-shots or campaigns online!
Name: Bertha Wargu'c
Race: Half-Orc Female
Class: Barbarian
Background: Outlander
Lore: The orcs of the frost peaks tribes always fought to survive. Though many of their men were slaughtered leaving their women to protect the elders and children. Once a year, they would send out their weakest warrior to find a strong suitable mate to bring back to the tribe. Four generations later, Bertha, born of a Goliath father and Orc mother, failed her trial in combat and was forced to complete this quest. She ventured down the mountain with only a fur pelt and a rusted sword. She stopped every caravan and traveler crossing her path to face them in a duel of strength. She fought and defeated every man she came across, even killing those who ran from her. The anger and frustration of isolation swelled inside her core and developed a hatred towards her tribe's judgment in calling her weak. Bertha abandoned her tribal duty after a year of wandering and continued to kill those she thought to be stronger. Until she met a small elderly monk who she deemed too weak to fight. The monk however wished to converse with her in hopes to help her. Bertha threatened to end the monk if he kept persisting to converse. She lashed out with swings of her sword but every strike failed to hit. The monk kept asking questions as he refused to even strike back. She grew even more angry and vexed by his words shouting out. During their fight, she confessed her feelings of rejection by her people with tears falling down her cheeks. She dropped her sword falling to her hands and feet feeling defeated by herself. The monk advised her to fight for something she loves instead of what she hates. Bertha rose to thank the monk only to see him vanish. She now wanders the roads to not fight against the strong, but to fight for the weak while praising the monk's wisdom.
