Name: Jimbo Lightfoot
Race: Halfling Male
Class: Wizard
Background: Sage
Lore: Those who study among the great arcane casters always became masters of the elements of magic, or that's what many apprentices believe to be true. Jim grew up in a heavily populated city filled with magical artifacts and worked as a clerk in a bookstore. He spent hours reading his favorite novels and old scrolls of arcane history hoping one day to own his magic tome. When a celebrity mage took notice of his interest in magic and offered him a scholarship under her wing. Jim would gladly accept the offer hoping this would be his big break. Only later did he learn that he was tasked to take care of her errands. She only taught him simple performance cantrips and gave him endless amounts of scribing work. He even noticed that her magic was actually gifted from a sentient magic mirror when bringing her afternoon tea. Jim decided to sneak in during her naps and try to talk with the mirror. The magical mirror foretold he would become powerful if he would steal his mentor's personal tome. Jim couldn't convince himself to do such a horrible crime, but he came up with an idea to borrow her spell book instead and copy her spells. For a month, Jim would pretend to clean while memorizing a page a day and copy it in a leather-bound journal. One night, he found a secret inscribed spell between a couple of pages and attempt to cast it himself. The spell was a trap and he was caught in an invisible barrier only for his mentor to arrive in a flash. He was caught red-handed stealing from her spell book and she fired him on the spot. Jim didn't leave empty handed for he gathered enough spells and knowledge to start his magical career. He went to his uncle's tailor shop and purchased an outfit to make him look like a professional. Thus Jim was no more, for Jimbo the Magician was going to be the best wizard the world would see!
