ORA ET DESPERARE
as you might imagine, superstition is everywhre in St. Saulus. people will hang charms and wards of every religion all around their house to prevent evil spirits from popping up. (of course, most charms do absolutely nothing.)
the setting's currency is called Crowns (Kronen) btw. 1 chicken for 50 crowns is a steal, he should buy one.

dunno exactly how much 1 crown would be worth compared to modern currency. since the soft apocalypse lotsa people have gone back to trading goods over currency, so local pricing can vary vastly. a chicken might cost triple in another part of town.

Okay good to know. I am a coin collector so I know a fair bit about different currencies. Also even without a collapse of society prices can vary in some countries. In Jamaica people generally charge what they think is fair for their stuff from fruit stalls. I am part Jamaican. Living in the USA can be tiring at times.
