What's a pangolian?

If I'm not mistaken, a pangolin is an anteater with a hard, spikey shell.

While this is a pretty cool interpretation of a pangolin, I'm still stuck on a friend's version, which I thought was a tad more unique looking. Not that this doesn't look original, or good. It's actually really cool. It's just hard to imagine a pangolin looking like this to me.

Still, really cool. Love the shine on the shell.

In all fairness though, I do like yours a lot too. It's just that I've seen about four pangolin variations, and since her's has a lot of history (I think she made hers when she was thirteen, perhaps even younger than that), I'm kinda attached to it. It's also the only thing that's stopped me from making my own, having respect for her characters and stuff. Granted, she stopped drawing anthros almost a year ago.

It's still really cool to see so many different interpretations, though. :) I wouldn't mind doing fanart, even. :P
