Goofy noclipping and glitches in various video games I’ve played inspired some of the hijinks in this story. My thanks to atomic_alex for coming up with such a fun prompt!

I LOVE your use of videogame glitches. Really took advantage of the VR setting. Maybe FromTheDead no-clipped into the pool and got stuck on the water. Or maybe the pool didn't have a ladder, like in the Sims...Has anybody checked on that? xD
The image of your character being pulled across the floor by the tail by a glitching out chair (while the song Get Down plays, as I imagined) was hilarious too.

Okay, I'll fess up: I turned on no-clip and phased through the wall because somebody was occupying the restrooms (I know we said 'no cheats' but I had to go, okay?!). Unfortunately, I phased through the wrong wall and found myself out by the pool. In a panic, I deactivated no-clip and fell on the diving board which glitched out a bit and generated so much upward momentum that I was launched into the stratosphere. I fainted on my way back down due to my well documented fear of heights and must have landed in the pool.
"So no one who stayed inside of this room could’ve committed the crime that took place
outside of this room" - I am still laughing at that one.
Very fun, I loved it.

Bathroom emergencies are perfectly understandable. Though I personally would’ve used the bucket trick before commands. Since technically that would be an exploit and not a cheat. ;) Ya gotta watch out for the collision glitches that send you into orbit. If there’s no water nearby to land in, you’d be toast! Or pancake rather…
I’m glad you loved my POV! Yours were all really fun to read too! Be sure to slide me a drink. I can’t really get one myself, what with this chair taking me on a tour of the room and all…

First off, you have by far the coolest avatar of anyone I've seen at this party. You introduce it seamlessly, transitioning from describing the room, to your avatar, to your clothes, and back to the scene. It's honestly very impressive. I love how it ties into the noclipping as well. Honestly just an amazing introduction ^w^
The way you included the other stories was also wonderful. Really feels like it fits into the madness of this prompt, which is quite an accomplishment.
Finally, the use of glitches is so clever that i'm mad I didn't think of it myself. I'd honestly be down for a whole whodunnit where both the detective and the killer abuse the game engine to their own ends...
Honestly probably the best response I've read yet. So glad you decided to contribute ^w^

That’s awesome to hear! I was worried I was focusing too much on my own character, glad to hear I was keeping the transitions smooth!
I saw other stories include events from prior ones before mine, so I figured I’d do the same. Contribute to the building madness.
Glitches create a lot of possibilities for exploits in a game. I agree, it’d be pretty fascinating to read a virtual mystery setting where funky physics are taken into account.
Thank you for thinking so highly of my story! I’m looking forward to reading your entry too!
