The Sun really makes things beautiful.
Its Touch, together with that of the Wind, is the Touch of Life. Something to remember. To be close to it, to experience it...
I reached for the heights to take in the orange Sunset. To say my farewells to that waning Beacon of Light.
My regards passed in silence, respecting the music of the Wind's howls.
A dragon is small here. The Overlord of Nothing. A Wayfarer...
A proud vagabond.
I owe my respect and fealty to those Mountains, to their jagged crowns, for compared to me, they are eternal. So many times will they greet the Sun...
It feels uncanny to stand there, one graceful Ember of Life, blessed with a domain without bounds.
In that journey of mine, I sought other Dragons, but there were no Dragons here. No People, either. The splendor of this Realm, bestowed upon my eyes alone.
Am I its Master?
...Guest?
I had a dream where I could shape those very Mountains, rule over the Winds...
It would be my masterpiece. And then... Others would see.
More eyes to behold the Dawn... A different hue of orange. Different shadows. Different World.
For the sight of the Sunset I know well.
This brilliant, picturesque piece was made by the remarkably skilled
hagonica She does some wonderful background-oriented pieces lately, which I wholeheartedly recommend. The painterly style gives it that unique appeal, resembling traditional works. If that is of interest to you, please check her out!
