Remember, they have families and kids!
Jacob and Linda on little stroll after picking up Jake from preschool where they had some WSG reps visiting earlier that day letting the children know how nice the company is. They even handed out gift hats for kids who lost a parent while working for WSG Security that year. One of the kids already had one so he gave it to Jake.
This pick took forever to make for some reason, hope it was worth the effort x.x
Enjoy!

Wow, the level of detail in the background and world around really helps this picture feel real and âalive.â Little things like âCash For Goldâ that youâd see every day but donât pay attention to, and-
Wait hold on did you say the kid already had a âdead parentâ hat? Oh. OhâŚ..
But yeah, great job on the artwork and the emotional assassination! :D

I was already sure I was gonna do a non-lethal only run on my first playthrough, but if I needed any further convincing, now I have it!
Gaaah, Darb, I'll never be over your emphasis on little details. The little autumn leaves on the sidewalk, the phone numbers and such on the banners, the cracks in the paint (and sometimes lack thereof) on the buildings in the background... I have seriously never known of another artist who makes a setting come alive quite like you do, honestly. I will never be over it.
And ofc the subjects are so cute! I love that the parents are wearing relatively casual and pleasantly "normal-looking" clothes rather than, like, standard 1950s mom and dad clothes (tucked-in button-up shirts for dads and boring plain dresses plus aprons for moms come to mind). Like, from that alone I get the impression they're relatively young and easygoing sorts, rather than stereotypes. Makes them seem so much more relatable and like real people, you know? They just look so real and approachable, I love it!
And you nailed the blank stare on the kid in the stroller, too. Couldn't help but notice that! It's the classic "deer in the headlights" look of someone who's just looking around and taking in a new environment for the first time. It's cute!
I'll seriously never be over your ability to make everything feel so real in your work.
