Chapter 26: The Baker


Synopsis: Maya is a 21 year old young lady who is well-known as the Baker of the team. Whenever she's not out on a Mission, she spends most of her time in the kitchen baking numerous pastries and cakes. When Maya found herself in a World known as Daybreak Town, she was only a high school student. But despite the situation she was thrown into, she was determined to get back home. As time went on, Maya did her best to get stronger, which wound up catching the attention of a young man in a black coat who went by the name of Oliver. When Oliver approached Maya, he asked her if she would like to join him and his team that was known as Galactic Star. Hearing this, and after struggling to get stronger for some time, Maya agreed and said yes, making new friends and bonds with others as she started to spend time in the party. When some time had passed since Maya joined the party, many of the members questioned why she spent most of her time baking goods instead of spending time hanging out with the others or going out at night to have fun. However, whenever that question came up, she did her best to dodge and avoid speaking about it. But the truth was, Maya was self-conscious about what would happen if people saw her turn into a Were-Bunny when she was under the moon at night. Fearing that if they saw her transform, they would treat her as an outcast, which resulted in her not being able to open up to many members of the team.


After finding herself alive again after the Keyblade War, Maya woke up at the back of a store in an unfamiliar World. This was where she was found by the owner of the shop, who was ready to call the police for trespassing. However, when the owner saw Maya and how she was, they instead brought them in to get cleaned up, and offered her a job to work there. With nowhere to go, and with no idea where she was, Maya immediately accepted the job offer. And after several months since that day, Maya has been able to get back up on her feet. Being forever thankful to the owner of the Bakery/Ice Cream Shop who had found her, and doing what she could to know more about the World she currently resided on.

Once again I would like to give my deepest apologies for the long delay of this chapter. This chapter wound up taking longer than initially expected, as well as the massive dump of notifications I had to go through that wound up taking a little over half a year to get through. But I do hope that the wait was worth it for those who have been reading my story :) . As for the character herself, I originally wasn't going to do a chapter for Maya at all. After a scammer who calls himself an artist known as shadowblackfox ( https://twitter.com/sbfoxart ) had drawn her first ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/37790053/ ), and after this scumbag had scammed me out of a thousand dollars, I was ready to scrap Maya and let her fall into obscurity. However, thanks to both  jurgenblue and ryutuisen ( https://www.deviantart.com/ryutuisen ) , Maya was able to get a second chance, and have a lovely makeover to erase any sign of her previous version done :) . But regardless of that, I do hope all of you enjoy reading this chapter :) .
