A quick picture of Syandene on her day off, sitting down to relax in the morning with a steamy hot cup of coffee.
Inspiration for this was just about the most random source ever... I was sitting down to have breakfast, I had a nice big bowl of hot, home made fresh soup. As I sat down I noticed the steam coming up off the bowl and instantly a picture something like this popped into my head. So... here it is!
I intentionally went with a very experimental style with the background, and kind of with the colouring in general. I know it's technically not the bestest thing ever, but I'm quite fond of it purely from a colour perspective.
Poor Sy, though. Seems even on her days off, she doesn't have time to put on a pair of pants.
Anywho, lemme know your thoughts!

I think it has something to do with the combination of having everything immediately available and yet not being able to see it. It's all right there, and presumably available to you if the girl is close enough to be seen without looking through a window from the bushes. x3 But at the same time you can't actually see all the fun parts, so it forces you to use your imagination on what you're really getting... and the imagination is always better than reality, hah.
I'd guess something like that is at least a small part of it.

I like it. This is a really sweet little picture, and I love the calm, contemplative mood you've got going here. No matter who you are, sometimes you just need a moment to yourself to enjoy the peace of the morning, or just use it as an excuse to gather your thoughts and brace yourself for whatever the day will hold. The fact that she isn't wearing any pants doesn't matter. There's a wonderful sort of peace and innocence here, and it's moments like this that can add so much depth to a character. I've always really liked Sy, and everything you've done with her in the past has been a lot of fun to see. But part of what makes her so much fun are the little hints, here and there, that she's a bit more complex than just another sex toy. Though you've actually managed to pull that off pretty well with some of your erotic pieces of her, too!
I really like her overall design, by the way. She's really quite gorgeous, and she's actually pretty unique which is quite refreshing. So it's great that we've gotten to see a bit more of her lately!

"Poor Sy, though. Seems even on her days off, she doesn't have time to put on a pair of pants." xD I sure pity all the poor furries who don't bother to read descriptions; they're missing some real gems with yours!
I really, really like the "experimental background." At first I thought the clear lines of the character didn't mesh well with the very lineless background, but when I looked at the whole picture (not zoomed in) it looked quite nice.
This character reminds me of my girl Scarlet, a coffee-addicted raccoon who is a little bit curvy and would look oh so cuddly in such a sweater <3

Hah, indeed, I try to throw a little humour into descriptions and pictures when I can. I'm a firm believer that there is -nothing- that can't be made better with a touch of humour, as long as it's subtle. :P
But thanks! I'm glad you liked it. It was extremely experimental so I wasn't really counting on it to look great anyway, but I'm actually quite pleased with the overall effect. Experimenting is fun!
And I bet that raccoon girl of yours would get along quite nicely with Sy, here... x3 But I apologize, I've been on a bit of a girl/girl kick lately and it's infecting my thoughts. D8

I just had to fave this. It has such a comfortable feel, and has a beautiful female figure in it without being pornographic
The warm colors and the sweater make me feel all cuddled up against the cold, and that coffee... Man oh man. I need some coffee now, really bad.

'Tis everything I like in a girl, afterall. Never been a fan of girly, it's always been the playful, somewhat tomboyish, and very low maintenance ones that caught my attention, so that's what I try to go for. It may result in a lot of the girls I draw being fairly similar, but eh. As the artist, it's my right to get what I want every time. xD
Thanks much :P
Thanks much :P
I really like this. I originally first saw your adult work when I first started watching, but there was something about this one. I really love it. The expression and detailing in the fur is amazing, and generally this is a beautiful piece. Well done.
I hope one day I can afford to commision you. ^_^ *licks, nuzzles*
