I have been sitting here for way too long trying to figure out how to comment on this piece, and the whole entire time, I have been trying to not tear up from how lovely this piece is. I know it's been such a long time coming, but I cannot believe it's here finally.
The feelings that caused me to commission this piece still linger, and I feel like that is why I am so emotional currently. Because I want to be in his position. I want that comfort. I want to be told everything will be alright.
