Redrew an old image of mine in an attempt to see how closely I could replicate the look of traditional animation.
I used Rebelle to use their built-in ink pens & the Oil and Acrylic brushes for flats. I decided not to use any multiply or overlay layers for lighting, instead choosing to eyeball the colors manually (including the transparent swimsuit part!)
I then took it into Krita to do the final color grading & post processing (noise, chromatic aberration, VHS color bleed, etc)
I think it turned out pretty good!
