A seven year old Keiba is exploring a new part of the ancient ruins of her island that she was unable to reach two years ago, she is giddy with excitement as to what new treasures she will find. She is in awe when she finds a room with a mural of a beautiful Kamina on the ceiling wall, crystals and vines are covering much of the room like the rest of the ruins. Her eyes then spot something on the ceiling, A strange energy floating in the center of the room with crystals surrounding it. She is memorized by its ethereal beauty, she spots a ledge close to the strange energy and climbs up to it. She walks close to the edge and reaches for the Echo only to realize she is nowhere close to reaching it, not letting that stop her Keiba starts jumping to close the distance. The ledge begins to crumble with each attempt, Keiba makes one last jump with all her strength and the tip of her finger finally reaches the Echo.

Almost immediately, her mind is shown an memory of a Kamina showing her a passage in a book. She has a serious expression on her face as a hand that’s not Keiba’s reaches out to her. The memory soon ends and Keiba realizes she is falling, she quickly grabs on to the ledge and pulls herself up. Breathing a sigh of relief, Keiba looks up to Echo only to see it gone. Confused as to what just happened, Keiba decides to return to her camp unaware of just how critically important the memory she saw is.
