It's been 2 years since I have started to draw anthro characters and while most of my characters were conceived out of fascination over someone else's characters, there are some that I felt have become original in their own right.
For instance, Teddy Atkins and Ally Herman.
Teddy Atkins, while he can be a well-meaning and assertive young bruin, the absence of his own mother during the later half of his life had taken a toll on his self-esteem. That's where Ally comes in.
Ally, while training hard to live up to the expectations of her late father, struggles to find passion in her actions. She gets a lot of fans and admirers to turn their heads, but it does nothing to sate Ally's desire for mutual companionship. That's where Teddy comes in.
I won't spoil how these two met and became good friends, but somehow the idea of a 4-foot, 60 pound teenage bear falling in with a 7-foot, 600 pound valley girl bunny just feels so...

And while this is a sincere matching, it also makes things less confusing for me. I mean,
radrab would have been the perfect choice for Ally, but he's simply not my own character.
