4 weeks into this semester, I'm starting to get a nice amount of doodling in. Rather than own a scanner and scan these scannable scans in at high quality like everyone sensible, I opted instead to use the take-a-photo-and-enhance technique.
The two in the upper left are the earliest, one of which being an attempt to draw a dragon facing towards you, but he doesn't look quite right to me. Plus, I kinda messed up on his elbows. Then there's a column of dragons looking at you, I haven't quite nailed down the technique.
Then there's a dragon who threatens to lick your ears off, not unlike what my sister's dogs do to me every time I visit. :P Though, he has ears too, so you can get him back. Next, we have a weird mix-mash of a bunch of different dinosaurs all combined into one creature. Underneath that is some foot/leg practice (inb4 someone finds this hot). I'm still not that sure about the musculature, but at least it adds some texture.
Upper right is what it looks like when I try drawing while tired, then I look at a doodle I made last semester and figure out why the front-facing dragon heads looked so weird to me. :P Then there's some beard practice. Ever since
winddragon showed me how to draw hair at AC'09, I've been working on the technique ever since.
Under that is some expression practice, which I think went fantastically. :D
Actually, I like to torture myself during class by playing a game called "Draw the stupidest thing without laughing and making everyone stare at you". Not being able to laugh just makes your snickers stronger. :P
