What the City thinks Susan's apartment looks like.
My Wife/Proofreader/soon to be architect, demanded to know what the apartment looked like, so we (mostly her) drew it.

Omg I'm super nerding out right now. I LOVE blueprints of buildings. I wanted to be an architect as a child, and instead went into engineering.
This is actually a lot different than what I had visualized the apartment to look like in my head. I'm tempted to sketch up how I visualized it. I actually like this layout a lot more!

I hadn't thought of where the stairs might be in the building, imagined the kitchen and living room rotated 90 degrees clockwise and then vertically inverted so the TV was in the top left corner, and for some reason I thought there was a spare room between the living area and Brent's room (maybe my brain is trying to give Hex her own room lol). I also visualized a tub shower in the bathroom and the bathroom just being bigger in general. As for Susan's room, that's basically the right shape for what I visualized the city seeing, but I imagine she's magically expanded it to be nearly the same size as the entire apartment, if not bigger. Her room is the weirdest.
I often refer to the dining space as if it is a room, so that could be where the extra room is coming from. Particularly if you had the living space between the kitchen and bedrooms. On page we have never seen the original bathroom, and Susan’s room is as big as she wants.
The biggest deviation for me, is the closet at the end of the kitchen, in my mind it exists, but also takes up no space. Giving the dining area an unobstructed view of the living space.
Basically non of my yoga scenes work as written with this floor plan
