Not even halfway through his walk outside and Hawke has already almost forgotten about the gummed up fox under his heel. Kidding of course, he's aware of Dash every step of the way. After all, with each lift of his right foot, he feels that ever so slightly waning resistance the gum offers as it tries to stay stuck to the ground. Though as so many steps before and so many steps to come, the boot triumphs and snatches the gum wad back against those worn out treads. Complete with a very delirious and sore fox. The constant squelching of used gum and heavy footfalls is bad enough, but Hawke enjoys reminding Dash just how much he's at his mercy at times like these. To do so he simply has to stand still, saving the fox from the stamping of boots but then keeping his trapped form against the heated sidewalk. The wolf knows just how long to keep it up, maximizing the discomfort to the point that Dash is practically begging for the steps to resume by the time Hawke gets a move on. This process repeats at the big wolf's whim until he decides it is time to head home.

It's a bit of a stalemate. Hawke is more cunning, faster and has amazing tech, so Crimson can't catch him. On the other side: Crimson's strength, durability and magic make it so Hawke can't get a solid opening without leaving himself open. So its a fight neither want because it would be too tedius.
