Washu Yashimoto. 31. Daughter of a lawyer and a lawyer herself. A childhood friend of Belle and her family, and currently her boss and lover. Affectionately called Auntie-Washu by Billie. She is very protective of her friend, especially after what happened to her in high school. If anyone were to harm Belle or Billie, she is hell bent to make sure those who did it pay dearly. Thanks to her years of being mentored by her father, she is one of the most brutal lawyers known, most notably for giving life sentences for rapists and wife abusers. She'd go for death sentences, but so far hasn't managed that yet.

She pays her friend well and hired her as a personal secretary. She is wary of any male friends Belle makes, watching over them with a stern eye, just waiting for the moment for her to throw the book at them. Luckily, her latest catch seems to be okay for her, but she'll still be on guard. She prefers Belle as a partner over anyone else, and would have gladly married her had their reputations not been on the line due to the laws and taboo against same sex marriages, but it is no secret of her friendship with Belle. While she doesn't care much for the company of men, she does once in a while indulge in their company, though mostly at their expense.
