My grampa gave me this along with a few other things cause he's gonna be moving into a retirement condo soon. It's probably as old as he is.
its a real mandolin with old strings on it but i can't tune it or play it cause it needs repair work done (it needs at least a new screw on the bottom to keep the strings in place) and it has some minor cracks in the surface of the wood and the inlay is cracked (I think its shell of some kind). the tuners are in very good condition and it has a sweet soft sound to it, good for bedroom serenades. *wink*
