So been working on this comic idea for the past week and was originally just going to be a norm Limbus Gregor TG but the more I got into the plot, themes, and such the more I felt like it'd be better to go with an original design. Still heavily inspired off Limbus but went for a more grunge angle and the specific cockroach is a death's head. Gonna sit on the idea for a wee bit before I make a full turn around ref sheet for the comic in case anything else pops up in my head that I think would be a neat addition for him and the story. I'll be posting the comic here when it's finished along with the original story to coincide with the pages. Idk when y'all can expect it the first chapter but I want to say maybe around November 2023 to March 2024. Just depends on balancing day job with commissions, other projects, and how long it takes for me to finish the draft and revise it for errors or if I want to patch anything up. The first two chapters initial written drafts are done but that was before I changed the plan to do my own interpretation of the character. And since it IS a TF story I need to revise the sequence and physical traits a bit to line up with this one (not too drastic with changes but with the additional prothorax and how I have the roach arm's anatomy/structure mapped to work of some human arm logic... Well, yeah. Mostly just descriptions and then adding more details since the arm is a bit more flexible/mobile than the inspiration. Hopefully you guys might enjoy it! If you guys got any suggestions for finer details (pins or accessories) or even for the full human-sized roach would love to hear.
