In her hand is a Stechkin OTs-38 suppressed revolver. Link Link It is very interesting design. First it fires the SP4 piston cartridge Link Next is that the bottom tube is the barrel. What looks like the barrel on the top is actually a laser dot sight emitter. Finally the cylinder does not swing down to the left, but instead it pivots to the right.
OTs-38 is meant for short range work, but that's fine for Akata because she's more of a hands-on, up close kind of operator.

They did borrow the idea of snugging up the chamber to the forcing cone from the M1895 Nagant.
There are at least two real world 410 shot shell revolvers that I know of, one named the Judge, the other called the Governor and either of them or both, may have been the inspiration for the so called Senator.
And I too wonder how Baron would come up with a design like those mentioned above. I’d imagine something rather big in any case.
