Even though this illustration is two years old, it is still one of the most elaborate in my gallery..
You have no idea how much I adore the second part of Balto.
The first part, of course, is no less wonderful, but this part has stuck in my heart since childhood ..
Little Alu's adventures with her search for herself.. I think this part had such a good influence on my growing up.. So I was very happy to work on the illustration in the zine and especially for this part..
I wanted to collect in one image the key points describing the cartoon and I think that I did it well)
I am also uploading it for the first time in good quality anywhere and would be glad to receive feedback from you)

woooow what a wonderful piece! you've captured a lot in this one~ the second movie holds a special place in my collection too, i loved the father/daughter relationship Balto and Aleu had with one of the saddest endings i've seen. and i dug the wolf pack and the meeting in the canyons is probably my favorite scene in the whole movie seeing the designs of them and how they think and act and what they believe compared to how the dogs would in the first movie.
i thought the mahogany and white, blue and black wolves were so pretty and cool looking, and the background of a pinkish purple sky in a canyon looked great behind them. i was curious on what they were doing with the first wolf when he goes to balto after the bridge is formed but then he just disappears. ah well. lots of fans ship him with Aleu. ^^
of course i believe aleu would see her father again one day. the bridge formed twice, chances are it could form again. The writer if she had done the sequel said she'd have aleu return to request help from her dad from whatever conflict they came up with. which would have been cool to see, but I believe Aleu would be able to settle things as a leader once trained.
