And then down in the cool, dry basement, hung with soft black tapestries and lit by giant candles, you have Assembly. Nobody knows who dwells down there, and nobody is ever seen leaving. But occasionally, strange and miraculous creations of blood and electricity rise up on glowing wings of flowing numbers, only to fly off into the direction of the rising sun, never to be seen again.
When I had to use it at work, we were hitting eventual consistency-related weird behavior even when we were in our early testing phase with like ten rows of data. It was something we could theoretically deal with, but it felt like a level of flakiness that would inevitably degrade user experience even if we handled it correctly.
