Would love to see what other Fairy Tales she can draw inspiration from. Or even modern tales at that!
How about the classic "Swan Princess" and the "Seven Wild Swans" . . . hmmm . . . but that involved more direct curses and hexes, and not relying on the victims acting a certain way like the other two do . . . hmmm
Maybe "The Cat Returns"? Haru turns more into a feline the more she forgets or fails to believe in herself and gives into the feelings of being a cat.
