Heya! :D as I told you in my latest journal, I've decided to upload almost everything and anything I create, whether it's internation or national, so get ready, this is a Swedish folk song, eh.. more like a classic actually.
It was made by Björn Afzelius a long time ago and it's about a woman namned Maria, who's on her way to the marketplace in a medival setting. A knight approaches and tells her that she's too pretty to to have a man and that he's more than willing to show her what he means in the bushes.
He tries to rape her, but as he starts pulling of her clothes, she manages to get ahold of a knife in his belt and she stabs him to death.
She is stoned for the manslaughter of a knight and the songs moral background bases on the fact that the people always suffer while the nobles get their ways, no matter what a crime a nobleman commits.
It's a very beautiful song and it carries much meaning to me.
I recorded this in one session and I used a Shure SM58 and a Samson C01 mic. I edited it in Cubase 5.2

how beautiful! and such meaning, If there was a way i could learn this, i would definitely cover it for you.
