ya, she's been on Den of Angels for, oh i don't know how long, years. you ever seen T4124 around there? i think she often uses Etsy to find parts like eyes and magnets and whatnot. we read The Joint forums and all kinds of blogs and such.

i'm not hugely active, but i'm around DoA on occasion. i'm Calli there too. :D
Thought about checking out the joint, but haven't yet. also i sometimes check out resinality, but not too often. i go through dolly phases. XD

oh man, she used to keep up with all the pukipuki outfits she did, and those sold like hotcakes, but that's been a long time ago. these days she's evolving up to larger dolls. she moved through the Little Fees and Pukifees, and on up. lol

oh WOW! She's amazing! I can't imagine sewing for those tiny pukis. They're so fun though! I mostly have bigger dolls, Aoi is one of my smallest. You'll have to let me know when she migrates up to the 70cm dolls. :D

we're waiting for a 60cm doll that's still in production by a math-major college student girl (tara knows more about her than i do), and she's really excited to get bigger dolls going. her ambition has been growing lately, and, yeah, she's emphatic that she can't do what she wants at ridiculously tiny scales. besides, she likes the more adult look you can find in larger dolls.

Yeah, I love the more adult bigger kids. Iple's EIDs are just fantastic, but OMG heavy. I'm plotting for one more, then hopefully a break from dolls so I can focus on getting some nice clothes for them. Sadly I have no sewing skills at all, so I'm so envious of your sister's mad skills. If her puki stuff is that gorgeous, I can't wait to see what she does when she gets her hands on someone bigger.

you can see the corsets she did for her Limhwa, and waaaaay in the very back, an Alice In Wonderland dress and a white wedding gown for the Little Fees. so that gives an idea of the sorts of directions she wants to go in -- so far, she's managed to get all her most visually impressive things done for the Little Fee, but she spoils her Limhwa rotten!

She's under a pretty heavy workload in school right now, so she doesn't quite have time to make doll clothes (precipitating her evaporation from the doll universe, seems like). but fashion school only makes her more fired up. i live in dread terror of the awe that her mighty awakening will bring forth once she gets her hands on that 60cm when school's over for the summer!

The Limhwas are such gorgeous dolls, I can totally see why she's spoiled. the corsets were just lovely! I'm a huge fan of them in general, and her workmanship is fantastic. if she ever gets her hands on a soom little gem body and wanted to do commissions, let me know. I'd LOVE to get some fantastical outfits for Aoi.

You'll have to get photographic evidence if there is a clothing explosion this summer. :D

Soom doesn't sell any of their fantasy parts separately, sadly! Sometimes you can find them on the second hand market, if you keep an eye peeled. Good Luck!
