A rather unlikely pair, Deya and Nubs became a pair of wandering mercenaries after the feline warrior was shunned from her tribe for rescuing the little guy from a forgotten trap in the tribe's previous territory. Although he lost his arms in the process, the little jerboa doesn't hold it against her, and although he had the option to return home, he chose to stay with her to show his eternal gratitude. He continues to prove his worth by helping her hunt wild beasts, and occasionally scout outlaws with bounties, in exchange for her assistance in caring for his basic needs.

Deya's a hybrid feline - a cheetah base, with some other feline elements. She prefers to have her mane in dreads and helps trim up Nubs' hair when it gets too shaggy, so it doesn't affect his sight too much. He quickly became like an adopted son to her, rather than just a tool, but she tries not to let it show too much.

He's got just enough arm left to gesture and lift a lightweight bowl to his face to eat soups and soft foods. He can leap long distances, is fairly nimble, and tends to hop ahead-of or alongside Deya rather than walking or running.

These are very old, adopted OCs which I never really had much use for, but decided to dust off and revamp a tad, and thought they'd make a cute duo. I really love her design and would love to do more with these two eventually! I imagine she's in the same realm/AU as Iano, my puma character. He needs a good revamp as well, so you may see him pop up some day soon too.
