Maya only grew angrier and angrier. She knew Officer Sizemore was right. If they did anything, the story could be spun around that could have the entire police force and everyone else going after them. But even with that becoming an unfortunate scenario, she couldn’t do anything in her current predicament. She was stuck. With no way out, and with nowhere to go after today. Maya began to step back, with hopelessness beginning to overwhelm her. However, as she stepped back towards the barred window, she felt a pulse began to ripple all over her body. Knowing what this feeling was, Maya looked out towards the barred window, where she saw something all too familiar. It was the very thing that she always tried to avoid whenever it was night. Up at the cloudless night sky, the moon was out. Even though it wasn’t a full moon, that didn’t matter for her since she wasn’t a Werewolf. Feeling the ripple again course all over her body, Maya began to clutch her head. Even though she hated this happening to her when she fell under the moon’s gaze, this had ironically turned into her hidden trump card for this case.
