Art Institute online is holding a contest for a 10,000 dollar scholarship.
I entered this piece hoping I might stand a chance against whomever is entering as well.
The chances in my opinion are better than winning the lotto, although perhaps not by much considering how few actually like cartoonists with a manga-ish feel to their art.
anyway I call this piece "Love At Sunset"
I got the inspiration strangely enough while listening to the song Sk8ter Boi in a TT music Video on utube.

Bah... I was done with them when they turned me down but asked to use stuff in my portfolio for free back in high school. The course I took in Design and Illustration back then is even recognized and pushed by them. XP
Enough of that though... I like this image a lot. There's some great elements showing off your talents. :)
