Aurora is a Verlani, a lizard-like species from the same world Calary lives in!. the verlani and the dinosaur species are separated in two different continents, never to encounter with each other. they live in tribes and are friends with the spirits that created their planet. their skin is smooth and blubbery, yet it does not dry easily, making it suitable for cold climates.
They live in a mix between the modern stone age and the classical age, with magic involved. They use stone, bone, wooden and bronze tools, but they live in tents or yurts, or just in nature itself. Some places of importance do have its own buildings or are carved into materials, but for the most part they live with nature.
For example, hatcheries and spirit temples have their own buildings, and there’s also structures lizardmen raise for ritualistic purposes.

Because of the cold climate, they wear hide shirts and pants, and furs to keep warm.

Aurora herself is a hermit who travels her continent along with a fox spirit, painting in random locations! her paint is rustic in nature and rather simplistic, reminiscent of paintings of ancient times. however, her sense of depth and perspective allows her paintings to look more dynamic than average. she has knowledge of self defense and hunting skill with bows and spears, as well as harvesting beries and medical herbs, which aids in her survival. she's been traveling the continent she lives in since she was 14, and at 31 years old she has still not seen it all.
