My car battery died. (RL, it really did, after seven years.)
So I'm trying to manage to afford to get another one to replace it. In the mean time.... nope, this ain't gonna last longer then two seconds, apparently...

Maybe ask her to jumpstart it? Sometimes cars can keep themselves running if the alternator can generate enough current to run? Only problem is that she'd have to come /with/ you to be the battery every time you turn the vehicle off.... Or hope you have a manual transmission and could roll-start the vehicle....
