Alora is the dreaming world given form and is the mate of Menali, the god of the dreaming realm.

Menali has been the god of the dreaming realm since the first living thing dreamed for the first time. As life flourished in the multiverse, the dream grew and grew, and became more and more diverse. Eventually the dream took on a life of its own. It started to watch their god. Millennia after millennia it watched Menali and, naturally, began to have feelings for him. In order to experience more feelings and emotions, it poured everything that made it alive into a being capable of being with the one it has grown to love and admire.

The next time Menali returned from the material plane, Alora, the Living Dream was there to greet him. She made herself to be everything Menali would want and need. Menali instantly fell for her and they have been a mated pair ever since. Even other gods have noticed the love they feel for each other and have blessed their union. For as long as they love each other and as long as there are beings able to dream, they will remain together forever and no one, mortal or god, can separate them.
