You don't have to be crazy to work here, we'll train you.
I've had to drop back to one comic strip per update day due to a number of real-life obligations over the past few weeks which have made it difficult to find time to work on the cartoon. I'll go back to two strips per update once I sufficiently replenish my buffer. I apologize for the inconvenience.

It's his hat. Sandy, as an equerry to Songween, has a red hat with her Blood and Bone uniform. Fred is an equerry to Songween as well, but he is wearing an ivory colored hat because he is going to be transferred to her staff after the Investiture. The Heir's livery are the reversed colors of the matriarch's livery.
I regret not having made up ref sheets for all the different uniforms ages ago. I'm stuck with making these designs up as I'm drawing them.
One thing I do know is that I wanted the costumes of the sheyenas to look like dresses from the back, but to have the fronts open so they can run and fight. No sheyena warrior would wear restrictive clothing. So they end up resembling circus ringmasters.

Isn't it something of a catch-22 that a good Generalissima would be one who would understand and accept that they're not fit to be Generalissima?
Besides, it should be pointed out to Sandy that feeling that you qualify for or a due some position because of your personal relationship (especially familial relationship) is nepotism, and isn't known for generally ending well.

Well, first I was getting ready for Anthrocon, the following week I was getting ready for a road trip to NJ to visit relatives I hadnt seen since before Covid, and then I came down with laryngitis and a cold and couldn't get out of my own way. On top of that, I was having trouble coming up with a script because I had writer's block.
Erf the dreaded block of doom.
I've been trying to help some friends get past theirs. We've been using the "web theory" method
And so much travel 0.0 I'd like to do that but, job says "no" and out with the laryngitis and a cold atop of it. Double whammy there

The sign of a good leader is one who doesn't want the job but is willing to do it anyway.
For an example of the alternative: Jinjur.
Now, lots of people think that there's an exception to the rule, like somebody who wants the position in order to achieve a goal for the good of everyone, but let's be honest here. They're either deluded/naive optimists OR is the same as Jinjur, just not as openly malicious about it. I am a FIRM believer in the fact that the road to hell is paved with good intentions as I don't even have to look that far back in order to come up with a example.... And now I just realized that I may have strayed too far from my actual point. Which is: Kathrine will make a good leader.
