My body still had tremors from the fear. We had successfully gotten into the MCT server room with guile and deceit, but the moment I hacked into the server, everything was about to go side ways. Walking down the seemingly endless rows of servers, I finally stopped at the one the ARO tagged as it. Pulling my deck out of my belt, I jacked the cord into the server host, and connected the other end to the datajack in my forehead. The jolt of the connection slightly broke my concentration as endless forms of data filled my vision, threatening to overwhelm my brain. Taking a deep breath, I closed my eyes and focused on the connection before opening them to shift the data. Encryption on every file made it so hard to crack, and with what little time I had left dwindling, I kept searching rapidly. "One more job... one more paycheck" I muttered to myself...
