A Couple wants to be more *one with nature* head out when ever possible to a place They've found where They feel at home. A place of lush greenery and crystal clear rivers, the area is untouch by Human destruction.
The waters are alive with fish, birds sing in the trees, and little Otterly adorable fuzz balls run about. None of which flee the presence of the 2, the Otters would even insist on talking to their guest, squeaking away at the love birds while walking around Them or swimming near by. Nature here is welcoming, to these peaceful strangers.
Days goes by and the 2 spend more and more time there. Birds get closer to Them and the Otters let the Love Birds scratch them as they squeal in joy. They really enjoy Their time there, their acceptance of Their presence. If either one lays down, some Otters would join Them, they have except the Couple into their family.
While the 2 were laying on their sides, with Otters laying between Them, staring into the face of a sleeping Otter They were gently rubbing, a shared thought came to mind. They wouldn't mind being an Otter and staying there forever. The Otter coos & rolls over, They smile and They both agree, that is exactly what They want. They want to become an Otters.
Telling everyone They're taking an extended vacation to find Themselfs, They leave everything behind and return to Their true home. Thinking, if They wished with all of Their heart, someone will hear Them, and grant this wish; *Turn us into a Otters*.
Parking where Their car won't be eazily be found, They leave Their clothes in the trunk and then They return to the Otters who once more anticipate Their return. They stand there as They are squeaked at by Their welcoming family. Their eyes are closed, the 2 of them wish again, pleading to be heard by someone, anyone...Their wish is heard, and answered...

The 2 of them are greeted by happy squeaks & playful headbuts of warm fur rubs. The 2 thank them with scratches & hellos!
The 2 then decide to settle in & sit on the ground; Him with His legs out front & hands behind Him. Her on Her right side, on Her right elbow. She's to His right with Her feet by Him. The Otters gather round and lay down, surrounding the new members to their family, the 2 relax, close their eyes & soak in the sound. However, the 2 of them areyet full members.
Whiskers begin to grow on His face as She runs Her fingers through the grass, losing Her nails. He scruches His fingers in the grass behind Him and loses His nails as well. Webbing begins to grow between their fingers...
As the 2 sit there, the Otters around them can sense the magic in the air and look their way.
Webbing continues to grow on their hands as other areas beging to change. His torso begins to thin some as it becomes cylindrical. A tail begins to grow from Her tail bone, causing Her left leg to move, Her hips are changing. Her body begins to do the same thing His is, thinning, becoming cylindrical, Her chest begins to flatten out. While His ears lose their lobes & shrink some while becoming triangular in shape.
These changes went on unnoticed, but they don't stay that way. As Her leg moved, Her hips readjusting, She looked & saw something moving & went to reach for it, noticing the growing webbing & missing nails! When She goes to draw His attention to it She sees His changing ears! She tells Him & asks what's happening behind Her, a tail is growing too Their surpise! After checking Their changes out, They are content to just sit there & let them happen. The Ottery observers watch with increasing curiosity.
A tail begins to grow from Him now, stretching out between His legs, causing His legs to shift as His hips change. He watches the changes as She rubs Her tail, doing so She notices Her toes changing, nails are falling off as lifts Her left foot & watches Her toes lengthen as Her big toes become thin. She wiggles Her toes as She smiles.
He realizes His body has become more flexible & gotten a little longer! He rubs His belly & chest, the curve His body now takes, He shuffles His arms back to stretch out His longer torso. As Her tail gets longer, She looks at Their changes & smiles as She tells Him Their wish was answered! Her teeth changes, they all shrink some as, Her Human K9s lengthen & angle outwards a tad, 2 more teeth grow in up top in front, & the bottom row spaces out to form a gap in the middle.
He looks to Their changes as His neck thickens some. He brings up His right hand where She can see it & They watch as claws come out of His fingers, claws also push out of His fingers on the ground. Webbing fully grows & His tail grows longer, changing His hips further. His whiskers wiggle as He turns to Her & agrees!
She tickles Her tail & revels in the sensation of the nerves in Her tail! She isn't paying attention to Her to how Her body is lengthening as well, how She's laying it ain't going to dawn on Her just yet. Her tail growth & hip change hasn't avoided Her attention though. Her Human chest has flatten completely out.
The 2 of them are happy, but confused. They do appear to becoming Otters, but They're not getting any smaller, are They going to become giant, giant River Otters?
As They ponder this fur begins to grow on Them, the areas already changing gain brown fur 1st, the fur grew on Them from the ground up as if the very location is behind Their changes!
Watching the fur grow, both of Their noses begin to change. Her nose & lips blackens as Her nose pushes up & forward as Her nostrils flare up. Her nose is very Ottery while His changes only a little. Nostrils flare up as His nose pushes up some, He looks to Her nose then trys to look at His own & feels it.
He looks passed His unsatisfying nose to His toes, all 10 of them are getting longer & thinner now, it happens as He flexes them in a wave motion, once they finish He fans them out then scrunches them together over & over. While He wishes His nose was further along, He is pleased with the speed of the change. His feet & hands are covered, His growing tail is almost fully covered with the area where His hips changed, spacing out, is just starting to fur up. His shrinking & triangulating ears are covered in fur too. Torso only has sparse fur.
She rubs Her nose as claws come out of all of Her fingers, scratching Her nose as it happens. She stops to watch them come fully out & the webbing fully grow. Her big toes slide back only a little as webbing & claws grow. Just like Him, Her hands & feet are covered in fur with all of Her tail- the area where it pushed Her legs apart, fur moves up to Her belly & starts down Her legs, most of Her nose is covered too. She looks to Her feet & flex them, feet & toes, watching the webbing wave about.
As Their tails continue to lengthen He takes a moment to register His eyes are far better than They use to be, He can see so much clearer now! She's happy for Him! But sighs at the thought She'll never wear earrings again with Otter ears, looking at His ears.
He laughs, as teeth change, K9s lengthen & lean outward a little, 2 more grow out up top in front while directly below they space out creating a gap, all of them shrunk some. Annoyed, She shakes Her head as it begins to reform. Her mouth & nose pushes out, head flattens some as a short muzzle takes shape, Her nose's texture finally changes. As He watched in awe His big toes slide back some as webbing grows & claws push out.
His tail keeps getting longer as He curls up to His face, fur spreads to His groin area & starts down His legs as it reaches His knees & elbows. His hair is becoming stylized fur. He feels His strong thick tail then looks over to Her. Her ears are reshaping into triangles as their lobes shrivel up, they also shrink some & move a bit.
He stretches out His legs, toes, tail! Then relaxes. His tail is as thick as His cylindrical body, His neck isn't yet. Her feet's structure changes into an Otter's paddle feet as webbing fully grows. Her thick tail rubs against the ground as Fur reaches Her elbows & knees. Fur on top of Her muzzle goes from brown to cream on the sides & bottom and down Her throat. Her body & tail are the same thickness as Her hips fully changes.
His head begins to change shape now, flattening to a degree as His nose turns black as the texture changes. It pushes out & His mouth follows & form a muzzle, His lips turn black. His tail grows to "full" length as it slaps the ground. His neck thickens some as it gets a little longer!
As Fur grows further onto the 2 of Them, Her stretched torso grows 4 more teats that are quickly swallowed by fur. His feet finalizes & whiskers grow out on Her muzzle as both of Them are swallowed by brown fur, cream fur around Their muzzles & throats. They're both Otters, but very, Human like.
They look Themselfs over, rub Their fur, knead the grass, flex Their toes, & move Their tails, twitch Their whiskers. They are both happy, comfortable. They turn to each other & smile!...
Then...in just a moment, after minutes worth of changing from a Human being to an, River Otter, They both shrink down to tiny, young, Full, River Otters. Shoulders collapse to Their sides, limbs shrink, heads compress a bit further.
He rolls over to His belly & She does too, both stand up to admire Their now complete forms!

The other River Otters move in to nuzzle them to death, welcoming Them full & officially into the family! When the 2 speak it's not Human words, but squeaks of an Otter! They can understand the Otters & they can understand the 2!
The 2 are guided to the water's edge & encouraged to dive in! Some where within the crowd a voice calls out to the hesitant 2 to let Their instincts guide Them! The 2 look to each other, then to the water, Their reflections...
In a blink of an eye, the 2 DIVE IN!
They look like naturals in Their new forms! They swim around in complete bliss, then surface laying on Their back rubbing Their cute li'l Ottery faces! There seems to be no trace of the Humans They were in Their eyes as the others join Them & bunch up together! They form a mass of fur & begin to drift along the river.
Where the family of Otters with *4* new additions end up is anyone's guess. But all of them are living a very happy life.
