This is me in my (atemptted) makeshift shibari harness. I'm still trying to learn shibari but I'll get there (eventually). For those of you that don't what it is shibari is the art of japanese rpoe bondage. I think it's mostly done with super strong silk ropes that can and are capable of supporting human weight when they're holding a human up in the air having them in bondage. (Note: If any of you try shibari and do shibari suspension bondage MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE A SUPER SOFT THICK FLUFFY MATTRESS ON THE FLOOR WITH PILLOWS LAYING ON THE FLOOR AROUND (IN CASE YOU DON"T QUITE LAND THE SOFT COMFY FLUFFY MATTRESS OR IF YOU LAND ON THE MATRESS AND RAPIDLY ROLL OF IT AFTER IMPACTING IT, HITTING IT, AND BOUNCING OFF OF IT) IT TO PROTECT YOU IN CASE YOU FALL OR YOUR ROPES COME LOSE OR IF ONE OR MORE OF THEM BREAKS so you won't end up in back of an ambulance or a medivac helicopter on the way to the hospital.
