New artwork time! Let's say I really loved the experience of playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which is why I want to do a few fanarts here and there. And well, here's Rauru, the first King of Hyrule and one of the last Zonai. I'm really fond of this character and I love his design, even it takes time to draw all those details (seriously, the character design of BOTW and TOTK is amazing, but gosh! they do have lot of intricate looks, haha)
Also, can we talk about the glow up this character had over the decades? First as the name of a town in The Adventure of Link, then as an old sage (and an owl) in Ocarina of Time, and now he is a furry goat/dragon/rabbit husbando. Zonai are so cool, haha

True, but there seems to be a big connection with both of them, with the Sage of Light role they both have, both being located at a Temple of Time and the chest emblem Zonai Rauru has kind of resembles to the face of OoT Rauru. Now the only thing left is to wait until one of the developers clarifies the connection between both characters one day.
Anyone could fill the sage role though. Their names being the same is a coincidence, especially considering this Rauru came along thousands of years after the first one, and even the Temple of Time isn't the same one we knew from before, which was reduced to ruin within the overgrown Faron Woods by the time Twilight Princess took place.
