"You've probably seen these 'Devil Girl' commissions around, and it's all due to one comissioner. Still, it was awfully nice of him to assign them on just the devilgirl topic- the rest was the artists free-for-all to come up with, and so this is my free reign.
When I was allowed to look at what previous artist did, I couldn't help but notice how perky and nubile the lot was. Not that it wasn't a very well done perky and nubile, but I found it hard not to think "You can't be perky and naked all the time without consequences." I tend to think of demons as earthly creatures, and from there, she popped up and practically drew herself. Hell's Kitchen(ette) will never be the same."
