I had gotten a lot of requests for trades on DA and given how little free time I have in my life, I was forced to say no to all of them. However I wanted to do something with those who'd asked for a trade so I came up with the idea of drawing a picture and asking those who wanted to do a trade with me to color it up any way they wanted and it could be a huge joint collaboration project. I launched the project on January 15th.
And got 2 submissions. (Aside from Fire, bless her heart, for doing one too to cheer me up) So all in all it was basically a failure, I was going to do one on here too but it seems like the kind of thing people aren't interested in.
At any rate here's my version of the line-art colored. Thought I'd share.

While the idea is interesting, there are generally a few flaws with it. One is that people who want a trade usually want an image of their character 100% created by yourself instead of being supplied a "colour-me-in" picture. Second, the people who want a trade may have little to no drawing talent, so they probably couldn't colour it in. Or either that they'd do a half assed job of it.
Well, fuck, hon. I would've jumped on the chance had you posted it here. That's what I get for not being active on DA. *chuckles* Send me the line-art if you can find a moment? I'd like to have some fun with it. *smiles* And I've always loved how you do ears. They look so fluffy. <3
