Done as my part of an icon art trade not too long ago. They asked for a sad theme so I drew their ADORABLE yorkie character Jil lookin' all sad. It was both my first try at a dog with the fluffy moustache face (so cute!), as well as my first try using clipping layers. Went for more dramatic cell shading, too, and added little spots under her eyes to try to emulate how it might look if such a fluffy dog cried into their fur.

I can't wait to get my half, she does awesome icons.
