While Battling Mind control Doc Ock, Spider-man is thrown and breaks a pod. Inside the broken pod, comes a strange creature a goo like fox named Foxtail. Foxtail freed tries to get away but seeing Spidey about to be crushed, Foxtail covers him in his goo form molding into a latex suit for Spidey. Spidey thanking Foxtail for saving him and says they should work together to stop Doc Ock. Foxtail agrees but doesn't know how to be a superhero. Spidey tells Foxtail he'll teach as they defeat Doc Ock. Later as Peter getting dress he notices Foxtail is still on him and asks Foxtail why isn't he coming off him. Foxtail tells him he's stuck in his form and apologizes to Peter. Peter tells it's ok he can deal with it.
