The lyrics for this lovely piece were provided by Mr.
tonin
He approached me with this as a possible comission, and after seeing how well the thing flowed, I jumped right on it of course.

Bass by
shiacoft This was the first time I literally said "okay you know what you're doing, go for it" And that he did. He did a great job with zero input from me on the bassline.
Lyrics:
Don't look up; you'll see the scars
Livid welt among the stars
Signed in blood the words we wrote
Lodged forever in our throat
All was lost but we're still here
Grown cloudy now what once was clear
The mountains high and waters deep
A gentle breeze to lull our sleep
A crystal dome may be our home
But green the hills we long to roam
So soft the grass and sweet the air
Under a sky so blue and fair
From love and land we marched away
We hid our eyes, blindly obey
A dotted line for every name
'Just do your job, there is no blame'
But blood was split and faith was lost
Now none can know nor count the cost
This isn't how it's supposed to be
Won't someone come and set us free?
This crystal dome may be our home
But green the hills we long to roam
So soft the grass and sweet the air
Under a sky so blue and fair
No, no this dome can't be our home
Dead gray the hills we're doomed to roam
So deep the dust and foul the air
Under a sky black as despair

He approached me with this as a possible comission, and after seeing how well the thing flowed, I jumped right on it of course.

Dude,
Tonin is like my role model, and he was the one to inspire me to submit some poems to my other account. You, on the other hand, we're one of the few Fandom musicians who inspire me to attempt music.
I've only been making stuff for like a month, but thanks to my awesome friends and their critique, I'm improving every submission as they come.
Great song by the way... I always liked poetic songs.

Oh, I will!
Practice does make perfect, but in my mind, I'll always find an area for improvement.
For some reason, once I set my mind on something, I'm continuously striving to improve... damn aggressive nature!
Oh well, maybe it'll pay off in the long run.
