She started to laugh- her voice ricocheted through the moist dungeon cell and scratched like the sound of a rusty blade dragged across stones. "You've never loved before, Sister... Not like we have..."
She looked up, the rattling of her chains disturbing the awful silence of the dungeons. A fire burned behind her eyes- it was moving behind them, swirling and twisting like a snake. A chill ran down the maiden's spine as she stared into them.
"I've no time for your ramblings, Sister. I came here to offer my final goodbye- that's all."
The prisoner's corroded mask could do little to hide her wicked, yellowed fangs as she smiled- "You should come back tomorrow, girl... we won't be here for long..."

(Anywho, I wasn't too happy with the background on this one- but I can't sit on it forever, as I have been told by many a friend, so here's more finished art for the lot of ya' ;)
