Just a little pic of Death and War. War(as you may have guessed) is always
getting into one kind of fight or another. Sometimes he doesn't come out
of it unscratched. Death being the good older brother he is is always there
to help...and to annoy his younger brother. Also note although you can't
see it here Death is having to stand on a tall chair to reach War's arm.

Well , one idea could come from Greece, in greek mythology, Death's father was Erebus (darkness/void) which definitely has chaotic properties but Khaos was a different entity entirely to the greeks but would be an interesting choice as well. I would say with War being a bear and death being a wolf, an entity of void or chaos in the form of a buff stag/deer with mysterious dark qualities would be an interesting twist seeing as his offspring would be carnivores but he being more primordial, would be in a form that is seemingly more docile despite being more powerful. It would make for an interesting twist, just an idea.
