Kodi panted as he sat back in the lawn chair he had set up in the middle of the kiddie pool, of which was filled with many pounds of ice cubes and water. He desperately wished that the summers weren't so brutal in his current home state of Florida.
"Good god, this absolutely sucks." He says aloud, seemingly to no one in particular.
"You've got that right babe." Chloe calls out as she brought him a glass of lemonade.
"Oh thanks hon, I needed that." Kodi says, taking a long swig of the refreshingly cool beverage and while holding a handful of ice to his belly, near his popped out navel.
"Hehe, hey, mind if I snap a quick picture?" She asks, holding up their camera.
"I don't see why not."
He then gives a lopsided smile, trying to bare through the summer pain, while holding up the glass in a 'here's to you' fashion, as the camera light flashes...
