Last two that will be in the house. And probably the two that will be shown the least. Mostly because I haven't really figured out what I really want to do with these two characters. It's likely no surprise but for the most part the ninetales and the espeon are the main two characters. They get the most lines and are the ones I usually think of first in regards to what the page is about. The glaceon is actually a really good counterbalance character against the ninetales and that interplay gives me a lot of ideas. The lucario is the only one able to live mostly normal but does allow me a biped to work with. Same with the buneary and floragato. They are also bipeds, though a lot of their content will be them dealing with the fact that they are rather small.
With these two, however, I just don't really know what to do with them. Like I'm sure I'll eventually figure something out. First I need to figure out what personality quirks best define them and then figure out how they fit into the comic beyond mostly background characters that occasionally have something to say. The main issue is what could the lycanroc have to say that I couldn't do just as easily with the ninetales, espeon or glaceon? And other than having no legs, what to do regarding the arbok? If anyone has any ideas let me know, but for the time being they're mostly just going to be there and only show up on occasion (after all, it took till page 10 before either of them got any images or lines).
As for the designs, not much to say on the Arbok. It's a pokemon with a rather simple design and doesn't really need much to fit my style. As for the lycanroc there are things about the design I'm not entirely sure of, mostly because there are parts where I'm genuinely confused as to what they actually are, mostly the black bits. Like are they fluff? Are they spikes? I can't tell. Went with the four outer ones being spikes and the one on the head being fluff. May change that later if proven wrong. Beyond that, liked it well enough. Kind of wonder if I went a bit too overboard on the fluff, though.
