This is probably a stupid ass question, but is this through some sort of volunteer work at a rescue or something? I volunteer at an wildlife rescue myself, though 99% of the rescues are birds. I get to handle the permanent resident raptors though, which can be fun (and sometimes scary lol)
Not a stupid question at all :) I'm currently volunteering at a rescue/ private zoo (in hopes of being hired soon) and they allow me to handle/play with most of the animals because I've had a few years of experience with exotic animal handling at other places.

I think my favorite that we have here is Martino the screech owl. Not only because he's so tiny and much easier to handle than the red tails and great horns, but he's really quirky and his little squeeks are super adorable <3 He's only got one wing too, so he flops about and it's kind of funny in a mean way, haha. There's a possum here too that's got brain damage (her mom was hit by a car while she was still in her pouch), so she's like, really docile and puppy/kittenish, and really fun to hold, since she clings like a toddler :) Swans and geese are the worst, they're so nasty and really gross D:
