With a bit of time off from work, Mona and Iris decided to enjoy the summer weather by spending an afternoon at the beach. The last time they'd been to the beach together, of course, there was a mishap resulting from Iris's selection of sunblock, so this time Mona insisted on bringing along her own selection instead. Unfortunately, Mona's choice was a bottle of Tre-C's Ocean Potion Lotion, a new product at Forbidden Arts that Blaire had given her to test out. Despite claiming to provide complete skin protection for up to 8 hours, it turned out not to be sunblock at all, but a pool toy transformation lotion, as indicated on the back of the bottle in small print that Blaire, Mona, and Iris all failed to notice. The total lack of an SPF number being listed on the bottle probably should have tipped one of them off.
Technically, of course, the claims on the front of the bottle were true-- pool toys don't get sunburned.

MC-Iris-League. As mentioned above, it's sort of intended as a spiritual sequel to this piece, done a few years ago by the artist DoodleDowd on DA.
